4.10 Module classy_node_monitor ¶

This module implements a drop-in replacement for net_kernel:monitor_nodes/1 feature, that is aware of classy membership.

nodeup and nodedown are sent in the following cases:

1. When node N that hosts a cluster member goes up, other members of the cluster receive {nodeup, N} event.
2. When a node N that hosts a cluster member goes down, other members of the cluster receive {nodedown, N} event.
3. When a node joins a cluster, other members of the cluster receive {nodeup, N} event for the new node.
4. When a site leaves a cluster, the remaining members, that were previously connected to it, receive {nodedown, N} event.
